Will Coconut Oil Fade Your Hair Color?

According to user survey reports, coconut oil will not fade your hair color. Coconut oil is very good for our hair because Coconut oil stimulates hair growth getting deep into its follicles. Coconut oil promotes the scalp health fighting against such problems as insect bites, lice, and dandruff. Coconut oil adds luster, shine, and softness to the hair. Coconut oil prevents hair breakage and split ends, contributing to hair length.

If you want to have long lasting colour with shine, a great solution is avocado oil! Coconut oil is good for a temporary fix to have the look of smooth healthy hair but the reality is that it doesn't even enter the hair cuticle so it can't provide lasting positive effects!

But what if the question is about faded our hair?

If your hair color is Red, then it's possible to fade the color of your hair. Red hair color is the fastest fading color. It fades in the sun, it fades when rinsed, it fades when washed with color safe shampoo. The hair is constantly seeping red dye when it comes into contact with a liquid or cream.

Oil is not particularly harsh, but there may be some fading.

But many people say that it will not. In fact, it helps it because it acts as a barrier to the weather and chlorine in pools.

I know this because I dye my hair different colors, most popularly purple, and use coconut oil on it all the time. It has helped me lengthen the time the dye stays in and control frizz.

But as always, I would like to point out that using a lot at a time will make your hair look oily, with or without a dye in.
